As you can see, there is quite a bit of work to do to have it more pleasing.
1.) Notice the glare on the picture on the wall 2.) The wall on the left side isn’t vertical 3.) The support post in the window is crooked 4.) The outside is way too bright 5.) The sky is blown out with no detail at all 6.) The lamp in the far corner is turned on but you can barely see it. The light coming in from the window is keeping the light from the lamp from showing. The picture was taken at an early hour but doesn’t look like because of all the bright light streaming in.

This is how the picture actually looked to the eye when the shot was taken, except for the glare on the picture on the wall. That was a different problem. Notice the straight walls and vertical post in the window, the lamp lighting, the better detail in the buildings outside and the sky. A very much improved final photo that is pleasing to look at without all the distracting bright light showing.
It took quite a few steps and time to make this a better photo but I think you would agree, a dramatic improvement.
